Polyphony

As I promised earlier I bring to you polyphony. Yep, now it’s playing chords!

What’s new in 0.3?

• A polyphony control
• A preset file update from v0 to v1.
• Envelope adjustments

I want this synth to be complete but keeping it simple. Polyphony is the feature it was missing so here we are. Now max amount of voices are 8 and are editable from the polyphony control at the bottom right.

The preset file now has to support polyphony values when loading / saving. Previous presets (v0) are compatible with this new version of the synth so no problem, all v0 presets are loaded with a polyphony of 1. Notice when saving new files, you can’t choose their version, this TinySynth saves v1 files. Furthermore, older versions of the synth don’t know about v1 format. Take this in consideration while keeping your presets safe.

Also in this version I wanted to adjust the envelopes briefly to improve extreme values. For example: An attack of 1 means the envelope curve will reach the peak in about 4 seconds, while a value of FF (255) will reach the peak in about 4 milliseconds.
